According to what Agencia Noticias Argentinas learned, the C5N host received the most important statuette when, after 1 a.m., APTRA president Luis Ventura presented the Martin Fierro de Oro award for cable signals to the journalist. The host went on stage very emotional and expressed his gratitude: 'Thank you very much APTRA, thank you very much to Luis Ventura for keeping this Martin Fierro award for so many years'. Then, he listed all his works in both radio and television: 'I have fulfilled 42 years in this vocation that I love, which is journalism'. During the award ceremony, the host had already gone on stage to receive the award for Best Male Journalistic Work for his work on Minuto Uno on the C5N signal.
